disorders and, if necessary, indicates this after the measure-
ment process with the symbol
. This can be an indicator
for arrhythmia.
Arrhythmia is an illness in which the heart rhythm is abnor-
mal due to errors in the bioelectric system, which controls
the heartbeat. The symptoms (skipped or premature heart-
beats, slow or rapid pulse) can stem from heart conditions,
age, physical predispositions, an excess of luxury foods,
stress or a lack of sleep. Arrhythmia can only be diagnosed
by a doctor after a physical examination.
Repeat the measurement process if the symbol is
shown on the display after the measurement. Please
guarantee that you rest 5 minutes before the measure-
ment and do not talk or move during it.
