Before first use
Remove all packaging materials from the
product.
Remove the insulating strip from the
battery compartment

Replacing the battery
Turn the product over and place it on a soft
underlay to avoid scratching the surface.
Loosen the screw located at the cover of
the battery compartment

on the back
of the product.
Open the cover of the battery compart-
ment

Remove the used battery, if present.
Insert a battery (as specified in section
“Technical data”) in the battery compart-
ment

Note:
Make sure you insert the battery
with the correct polarity. This is indicated
in the battery compartment

Close the cover of the battery compartment

and tighten the screw.
