SSM 200 A1
Assembly
1) Remove all packaging materials and any stickers
from the appliance.
2) Clean the appliance as described in the section
“Cleaning and Care”.
3) Place the motor unit
on a flat surface.
4) Push the blade roller
into the roller housing
.
The drive shaft
must project into the opening
of the roller housing
.
5) Screw the end cap
onto the roller housing
,
until the outlet
is pointing downwards and
the end cap
no longer turns. In doing so,
turn the end cap
in a clockwise direction, as
indicated on the roller housing
:
.
6) Push the assembled roller housing
into
the motor unit
, so that the feed tube
is slightly offset (see figure B on the fold-out
page). The arrow on the roller housing
must
point to the
symbol on the motor unit
.
The catches on the roller housing
must grip
into the recesses on the motor unit
. Turn
the roller housing
so that the feed tube
is pointing upwards, the arrow on the roller
housing
is pointing to the
symbol on the
motor unit
and the roller housing
clicks
into place (see figure C on the fold-out page).
7) Place the pusher
into the feed tube
.
NOTE
►
The pusher lid
can be removed.
For removal:
–
Turn the pusher lid
anticlockwise until it
allows itself to be removed.
For set up:
–
Place the pusher lid
on the pusher
,
so that both locking mechanisms on the
pusher lid
slide through the slots on the
pusher
and then turn the pusher lid
in clockwise direction so that it is firmly
held in place.
8) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
The appliance is now ready for use.
Preparing ingredients
CAUTION! MATERIAL DAMAGE!

Do not process fruits with stones or cores.

Do not process whole nuts.
►
Do not process ice cubes.

Peel fruits such as bananas or kiwis.
♦
Remove cores, stones or stems from the fruit.
♦
Cut the fruit into small pieces so that it will easily
fit through the feed tube
.
♦
Ingredients such as such as cooking chocolate
must be crushed into small pieces.
♦
Put the prepared fruit in freezer bags or plastic
tubs and place them into the freezer for approxi-
mately 24 hours (-18°C).
NOTE
►
Instead of freezing fresh fruit, you can use fruit
that has already frozen from the deep-freezer.
