7. Cleaning
Warning!
To avoid the danger of
an electric shock or damage:
– Remove the plug from the mains
socket before starting to clean
the appliance.
– Never immerse the appliance in
water, and protect it from
splashes and water droplets.
– Before cleaning, allow the
appliance to cool down to avoid
the risk of burns. This may take
up to 30 minutes in the case of
the stone grill plate

Caution!
Never use abrasive, corrosive or
caustic cleaning materials. This may
damage the appliance and the coated
surface of the grill plate

Note:
Don’t wait too long to wash after
cooling so that the food remains don’t dry
on and become difficult to remove.
7.1 Cleaning the base section
1. Clean the base section

with a damp
cloth. A little washing-up liquid may also
be used.
2. Wipe off with fresh water.
3. Do not use the machine again until it is
fully dry.
7.2 Cleaning the stone grill plate, grill
plate and accessories
Warning!
The stone grill plate

retains heat for a long time. Take
care not to burn yourself on the
grill plate.
Caution!
Don’t put the hot stone grill
plate

in washing up water. The
temperature shock could make the stone grill
plate crack.

in warm water by
hand.
2. If heavily soiled, leave parts to soak in
warm water for about 20 – 30 minutes.
You could add a few drops of mild
washing-up liquid.
3. Carefully dry all parts after cleaning.

• A soft, non-scratch sponge may also be
used to clean the stone grill plate

• To prevent unwanted odours such as fish
smells, rub the stone grill plate

with lemon juice.
8. Disposal
8.1 Appliance
The symbol with the crossed-
out rubbish bin on wheels
means that within the European
Union, the product must be
disposed of to a sorted rubbish
collection. This applies to the product and all
accessories which are marked with this
symbol. Marked products must not be
disposed of via the regular domestic waste
but must be handed in to a recycling centre
