Always apply the parking brake and remove the ignition lock key. If you park the machine on a steep descent, additionally
secure it by means of blocks/safety stands.
7.4.8 How to tow the machine
Select neutral with the change gear. Never tow the machine above 8 km/h, because the hydrodrive does not work
with the motor switched off and it will become difficult to control the vehicle.
Never tow the Dumper on the road. Use appropriate transport means.
8.
MAINTENANCE
The machine does not require any particular maintenance work. The technical solutions and the components
installed on the machine reduce maintenance at the minimum. However, we recommend to carry out a series of
operations, which aim at ensuring safety, liability, efficiency and long life of the machine.
During maintenance
Before performing any maintenance work place/park
the machine in the area defined in section
5.2
Placing
and how to park it. In case of mechanical or electric trouble, call the authorized personnel. If the machine is out of
service because of trouble, maintenance or repair, place a special sign highlighting this status and remove the
ignition lock key.
Always use the personal protective equipment during repair and replacement of the machine elements.
Repairs on the electric installation shall be done by authorized and specialized personnel only.
Repairs on the motor shall be done by authorized and specialized personnel only.
Keep hands, feet, clothing and hair away from all moving and/or rotating parts. Use appropriate means (brush, wooden
piece, etc.) to remove possible rubble:
never use your hands!
To ensure long life, prevent damage and ensure the full functioning of the mechanical and electric machine elements the
maintenance must be performed regularly.
8.1 Ordinary and extraordinary maintenance
During running-in period (50 hours).
Do not force the motor and do not exceed machine load capacity.
Clean the hydraulic oil drain filter after the first 20 hours.
Check for possible leakages of hydraulic oil, brake oil, clutch control oil, lubricants of the various mechanical units.
Check tightening of all the bolts and nuts, in particular the fixing of the wheel rims, after the first 20 hours.
Replace the motor oil and carry out all the other operations indicated by the manufacturer of the motor (see motor
instruction manual enclosed to this manual)
Carry out all the following daily, weekly and fortnightly, etc. maintenance works.
8.2 Daily maintenance at the end of the work
Eliminate every possible trouble occurred.
Carefully clean the inside of the bucket to avoid deposits.
Wash with a powerful water jet the outside of the machine to remove all kinds of residue.
Switch off the motor and place the bucket in home position, then grease all the lubrication points.
Carefully check the tyres.
Check the brakes.
Clean the driving seat.
Caution : Do not wash the electric and control parts of the machine with compressed air.
8.3 Weekly maintenance
Check oil levels of brakes, clutch control oil, hydraulic oil when the motor is switched off and the bucket is resting
on the ground.
Oil is a special waste and must be disposed of according to the laws in force.
Check the level of the battery liquid. Check belt tightening of blowing fan.
Wash the motor air filter and fill up the cup with oil.
Check wear and tear of transmission belts.
8.4 Fortnightly maintenance
Check the oil level of change gear, differential gears, and reduction unit.
Check brake pedal idle stroke; normal value is 20/25mm.
Check parking brake lever stroke; it must get blocked with a force not below 10 kg.
Clean the hydraulic oil drain filter and the tank vent plug.
8.5 Maintenance to be carried out every 100 working hours
Change the motor oil according to the instructions of the manufacturer.
