9. Troubleshooting
Some problems may be caused by minor faults that you can fix
yourself. To do so, follow the instructions in the following table.
If it is still not possible to resolve the problem, contact customer
service. Do not repair the steam brush straightener yourself.
Fault Possible cause and solution
The steam brush
straightener is not
working.
The mains plug has not been inserted into a
socket. Connect the mains plug to a socket.
The hair does not
straighten.
• The hair is not clean, dry, or free of
hair products (except hair straightening
products).
• The heating plates are not clean.
• The set operating temperature is too
low. Select a higher temperature.
The hair is singed. The set operating temperature is too high.
Select a lower temperature. Never stay at a
position on the hair for too long.
There is no steam
coming out from
the steam nozzle.
• If the water tank is not full, tilt the steam
brush straightener so that water flows
into the device for the steam feature.
• The water tank may be blocked (e.g. by
limescale).
