4: System Monitoring
Power Supply LED
There is a single bi-color LED (green/amber) to indicate the power supply status.
describes the different states of the LED.

No AC power to any PS.
Green
Output on and Ok.
Green, 1Hz blink
AC present (only 12VSB on). PS off or PS in cold redundant state.
Note
: This is the normal state for a redundant PS.
Green, 2Hz blink
PS firmware updating.
Amber
– PS critical event causing a shutdown/failure (OCP, OVP, fan failure)
– AC cord unplugged or AC power lost. A second power supply in
parallel still has AC input power.
Amber, 1Hz blink
PS warning events where the power supply continues to operate (high
temperature, high power, high current, slow fan). The system power
supply temperature has reached 63
º
C. The system will automatically
power-down when the power supply temperature reaches 70
º
C and
restart when the power supply temperature goes below 60
º
C.
