6.3 Changing the battery
Malfunction of the wire-actuated position indicator
The wire-actuated position indicator shows no function when the battery
has been mounted incorrectly. The current position value will be lost (exe-
cute calibration).

Battery change does not cause loss of parameters. Only the position value
must be set to the correct position value afterwards by calibration (see
chapter 5.4 ).
Preparation:
1. Place the replacement battery ready (see chapter 6.1 ).
Deinstallation (see Fig. 4 ):
1. Axially pull out the battery compartment.
2. Remove the battery from the compartment.
3. For disposal of the old battery refer to chapter

Installation (see Fig. 4 ):
1. Insert new battery

. Mind the correct polarity.
2. Completely insert the battery compartment

3. Check the function of the LCD display.
