2.3  Target group

Installation instructions are intended for the configuration, commission-

ing and mounting personnel of plant or machine manufacturers who pos-

sess special expertise in drive technology. This group of operators needs 

profound knowledge of an absolute encoder's necessary connections and 

its integration into a complete machinery.

Insufficiently qualified personnel

Insufficiently qualified personnel cause personal injury, serious damage to 

machinery or absolute encoder.
