1.) Protect the car body with tape. Pierce the existing adhesive with the awl, preferably in one of
the bottom corners.

2.) Fix the wire/fiber to the awl and pull it inside. Pull 1 x the diagonal length
of the windshield inside.

3.) Place the wire/fiber completely around the windshield. Make sure it
is positioned at the place of the existing adhesive. Lock the wire/fiber in the reel.

4.) Place the
wire/fiber on the SmartCut. Position the SmartCut at the corner of the windshield as shown. Wind
up the wire/fiber using the ratchet lever.

5.) Wind up the wire/fiber to a maximum angle of 80°
to the cutting direction. Cut carefully around the corner.
n
6.) Move the Sika® SmartCut to the next
corner, release the wire/fiber to reposition. Repeat the process.

7.) Continue as shown until the
adhesive is cut completely.
Remark:
It may happen that the resistance on some spots will get
higher. On those spots it helps to saw with the lever. This will cause sawing on the wire/fiber and
the spot will release easier.

ANWENDUNGSEMPFEHLUNG
1.) Angrenzende Karosserie mit Klebeband schützen. Mit Stechahle den Scheibenklebstoff in eine
der unteren Ecken durchstechen.

2.) Schnur/Draht an der Ahle befestigen und auf Länge einer
Scheiben-Diagonale in den Innenraum ziehen.
n
3.) Schnur/Draht komplett um die Scheibe legen.
Auf Positionierung an der Kleberaupe achten. Schnur/Draht in der Spule fixieren.

4.) Schnur/
Draht am Sika® SmartCut befestigen und in der Ecke platzieren. Schnur/Draht mittels Ratschen-
hebel aufrollen.
n
5.) Schnur/Draht bis zu einem maximalen Winkel von 80° in Schneidrichtung
aufspulen. In den Ecken vorsichtig schneiden.
n
6.) Das Sika® SmartCut entlasten, in die nächste
Ecke platzieren und den Vorgang fortsetzen.
n
7.) Fortfahren bis der Scheibenklebstoff komplett
durchtrennt ist. Hinweis: Bei punktuell höheren Widerständen den Ratschenhebel leicht vor- und
rückwärts bewegen, um Sägewirkung zu erreichen.
