To Verify Mac OS Installation
Check System Profiler to verify successful installation.
1. Click Go , then Utilities .
2. Double click System Profiler .
3. Click FireWire and another FireWire Bus should be
displayed.
Removing the ExpressCard
Stop the ExpressCard before removing it from the
ExpressCard slot.
Windows
1 The utility is located by the system clock.
For Windows 2000 : Click the Unplug or Eject
Hardware icon. Click Remove PCI standard
PCI-to-PCI bridge .
For Windows XP/Server 2003/Vista : Click the Safely
Remove Hardware icon. Click Safely remove PCI
standard PCI-to-PCI bridge .
2. Wait for the confirmation box, then remove the
ExpressCard from the ExpressCard slot.
Mac OS
The utility is located by the system clock.

Click the monitor icon, then choose Power Off
Card .
2. You can now remove the ExpressCard from the
ExpressCard slot.
