FM Mode
The Radio features a built-in FM tuner with an auto-tuning function and a 20-station programmable
memory.
Preparing the Antenna
On the rear panel of the Radio, there is a telescopic antenna, which is held in place by the antenna
clip.
1. Gently pull the antenna out and away from the antenna clip.
IMPORTANT:
Do not to apply an excessive amount of force when unclipping the antenna, as this
may dislodge the antenna completely from the main unit.
2. For the best FM reception, lengthen the telescopic antenna to full extension.
Listening to FM Radio
1. In standby mode, press and hold the
MODE
button for approximately 2 seconds. The Radio
will automatically enter one of the four different audio modes.
2. Cycle through the audio modes by pressing the
MODE
button repeatedly until “FM Mode” is
shown on the LCD display.
3. Tune the FM radio by using the auto-tuning function, or by manually tuning the frequency (see
page 15 for further details).
4. To turn off the FM radio, follow the steps below.
• Press the
MODE
button to enter a different audio mode; or
• Press and hold the
MODE
button to set the Radio into standby mode.
Navigating the FM Radio Menu
Press the
MENU
button to enter the FM radio menu. Press the

button to scroll through the
menu options. Press the button to confirm the selection.
Scan Setting
•
All stations - During the auto-tuning, the Radio will save all frequencies that it can find,
regardless of signal strength.
•
Strong Station - During the auto-search, the Radio will only save frequencies that have a very
strong signal.
