Setting the Time/Date
If you have performed an auto scan to search and save the available digital radio stations in your area
(see page 17 for details), the Radio can set its clock from DAB radio broadcasts. After a power failure,
the Radio will then set its clock the next time the unit is set to DAB mode. Alternatively, the time and
date can be set manually by following the steps below.
Setting 12/24 Hour Time Format
1. In standby mode, press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds. The LCD display
will show “Set clock”.
2. Press the

button 3 times until “Set 12/24 hour” is shown on the LCD display.
3. Press the button to set the time format.
4. Press the
or
button to select between “Set 24 hour” (24-hour time format) and "Set 12
hour" (12-hour time format), then press the button confirm the selection.
Setting the Correct Time
1. In standby mode, press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds. The LCD display
will show “Set Clock”.
2. Press the button to set the time.
3. The LCD display will show the current time, with the first 2 digits flashing, indicating that the time
hour is to be set.
4. Press the
or
button repeatedly to select the correct hour, then press the button confirm
the selection.
5. The LCD display will show the second 2 digits flashing, indicating that the time minute is to be
set.
6. Press the
or
button repeatedly to select the correct minute, then press the button
confirm the selection.
Setting the Correct Date
1. In standby mode, press and hold the button for approximately 2 seconds. The LCD display
will show “Set Date”.
2. Press the
or
button until “Set Date” is shown on the LCD display.
3. Press the button to set the date (Day/Month/Year).
4. The LCD display will show the current date, with the last 4 digits flashing, indicating that the year
is to be set.
