CLEANING AND CARE

WARNING!

DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

Ensure that the steam mop is switched off and

disconnected from the mains outlet before

cleaning.

Limescale:

If you live in a particularly hard water area, we

recommend using bottled or distilled water.

Warning: never pour vinegar or other liquid

cleaners for eliminating calcium into water

tank.

After Using the Steam Mop:

Disconnect power supply, allow the steam

mop to cool completely and empty the

water left in water tank. Let the Steam Mop

completely cool down, clean with a damp cloth

or a nonabrasive (liquid) cleaner.

Decalcify the Water Tank:

To clean calcium deposits that build up inside

the water tank:

1.  Add one or two tablespoons of white

vinegar to a full water tank.

2.  Close the water tank cap and shake the

contents.

DO NOT TURN THE STEAMER

ON.

3.  Let the unit sit for a few hours, then

empty the water tank.

4.  Refill the tank with clean water and empty

it until it rinses clear.

Limescale Removal:

•

If your steam mop begins to produce

steam more slowly or completely stops,

you may need to remove limescale from

your appliance.

•

Limescale can develop over time on the

metal parts and greatly affect the mop’s

performance.

•

It’s necessary to remove limescale on a

regular basis every 25 to 50 times you

use a full tank of water (or at least once

a month), especially in hard water areas

and how often you use the steam mop.

1.  Prepare a solution of 1/3 white vinegar &

2/3 tap water and add to the water tank.

2.  Secure and position the unit to ensure

any released steam is aimed away from

the floor or surrounding objects and

surfaces.

3.  Plug the steam mop in and turn it ON by

pressing the Power Switch (O/I). Allow

the appliance to produce steam until the

vinegar/water solution is used up.

4.  Repeat the above procedures as many

times as necessary, until a normal steam

flow rate is achieved.

5.  Fill the Water Tank with fresh water and

rinse it out.

6.  Once the tank is empty, fill it again with

fresh water and attach it to the unit.

Release steam through the system until

the Water Tank is empty.

TO STORE YOUR APPLIANCE:

•

Ensure that the appliance has been

emptied of water and is clean and dry

before you store it.

•

Store the appliance in a cool and dry

place.

WARNING:

DO NOT IMMERSE ANY PART OF THE

APPLIANCE IN WATER
