The
Raven
XE
has
an
embedded
radio
module,
also
made
by
Sierra
Wireless,
Inc.
There
are
two
firmware
programs
on
the
device—one
stored
on
the
controller
board
of
the
Raven
XE
and
one
on
the
radio
module.
The
firmware
was
loaded
into
the
radio
module
and
con
‐
troller
board
when
the
Raven
XE
was
assembled.
As
new
versions
of
the
software
and
firmware
are
released,
they
are
posted
at
www.sierrawireless.com.

describes
how
