Interface configuration 

 

The interfaces TTY, RS485 and RS232 are available for operating the device. To 
change the Interface, device must be opened to replug 5 jumpers.  

Follow the instructions to change the interface: 

– 

Remove the lateral cover 

– 

Disconnect the 5 jumpers currently installed 

– 

Reconnect the 5 jumpers to the desired interface jumperblock regarding the 
labelling 

– 

The following illustration shows the configuration for TTY-Inferace usage:

RS485-Termination: 

Next to the RS485 jumper block a single jumper for the RS485 termination is 
located. This jumper must be removed when multiple SUT50 in the configuration of 
RS485 are connected together to a common interface-cable.
