Power supply connection
Check the permissible voltage range before connecting the display (see Section
9.2).
Caution
Only use the power cable supplied in the delivery, or a cable with PE conductor
and appliance socket to DIN 49 547, IEC 320 (max. length 3 m, cable e.g.
H05VV-F 3x1.0 mm

). Furthermore, the cable must correspond to the safety
regulations of the specific country.
Information for installations in the USA and Canada:
Molded power supply plugs must comply with the requirements for "hospital grade
attachments" CSA Std. C22.2 No. 21 and UL 498.
Caution
Equipment fuses should only be exchanged by authorized service stations,
because the failure generally originates from a defect of the display.
The power supply to the display is connected using an appliance plug.
5.1.3 DVI
connection
The display has a single-link DVI-D connection. Use the supplied cable or another
high-quality cable. The picture quality, noise immunity and radiated interference of
the complete system depend on the cable quality and length.
5.1.4 Connection

Caution
The display can be tilted. When handling, it is possible that the display could tip
down, catching parts of your body between housing and stand.
•
Place display on a stable, horizontal surface
•
Remove rear panel from stand
•
Loosen screw of connection panel, and remove panel cover
•
Insert appliance plug through opening in the stand, and plug in at the display
•
Insert DVI plug through opening in the stand, plug in and screw tight
•
Position cover onto connection panel, and tighten screw
•
Secure rear panel onto stand again.
