Phonebook
Entries in the Phonebook (on the SIM
card) are managed separately from
those in the Addressbook. You can,
however, exchange data between
the Phonebook and the Address-
book.
New entry
If the Phonebook has been selected
as the default book:

Open Phonebook
(in standby mode).

Fill in input fields. The
maximum number of
characters available is
shown at the top of the
display.
Phone number:
Always enter phone number with
dialling code. An entry will not be
saved without a phone number.
Name:
Enter first and/or last names.
Group:
Default:
No group
Important phone numbers can be
put in one group (
VIP
). This is inde-
pendent of the Addressbook groups.
Location:
Default:
SIM
Special SIM cards can save phone
numbers in a protected area
(
Protected SIM
) (PIN2 required).
Record number:
Each phone number is automatically
assigned a record number. You can
also dial using the record number.
