CAUTION
Machine overheating
The surface temperature of the machine can exceed 100° C. Non-observance of the
following notes can lead to minor injury or material damage.
• Do not touch any hot surfaces.
•
Make sure that temperature-sensitive components (electric cables, electronic
components) do not come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Make sure that the machine does not overheat as this can destroy the
windings/bearings and the permanent magnets may become demagnetized.
•
Only operate the motors in conjunction with effective temperature monitoring.
2.8 Information about electromagnetic fields
CAUTION
High magnetic flux densities through permanent magnets
In order to avoid injury and material damage, note that the rotors of the synchronous
machines contain permanent magnets with high magnetic flux densities and strong
attraction forces to ferromagnetic bodies.
•
Make sure that persons with cardiac pacemakers do not come close to a disassembled
rotor.
•
Note that data stored on electronic data carriers can be destroyed.
