Downloading a permanent IP address to an online CPU

① Networks available on the programming

device

To permanently assign an IP

address, you must configure the IP

address in the Device configuration,

save the configuration, and download

it to the CPU.
An IP address that has been

downloaded as part of the device

configuration will not be lost on a

power cycle of the PLC.
Use "Online access" to display the IP

address for the CPU.
Note that "Online access" displays all

of configured networks for the

programming device. Select the

correct network to display the IP

address for the specific CPU.

Select "Download to device" and

"Extended download to device"

to display the devices on the

network.
Select "Show all accessible

devices" to display all accessible
