SIMATIC PCS 7 OSx 4.1.2 Operator

9.6

Previewing a Report

Previewing executes a compiled report with all functions enabled except the

database write procedures; this prevents a change in database values while

the operator is verifying the output of a report.

An operator can preview the output of a report from any OSx station. To

preview the Report Output, select the

Preview

pushbutton at the bottom of

the Reports Directory (

Figure 9-12

). The executed report results appear on

the Preview screen. You can use scroll bars to view the parts of the report

that are not visible on the screen. The message

Report is executing

appears

while the report is executing for the previewed report.

NOTE:

(Classic)

When reports run, there is no limit check on the size of the

output file. If an output file larger than 4 Mbytes is created, you will not be

able to view the output file.
