Configuring the network, UDP connection
The communication blocks (AG_SEND / AG_RECV) exchange data with the
access point via UDP connections.
A separate “UDP connection” is configured for each “access point”.
In the included sample project these connections have already been configured.

Opening network configuration:
Open the network configuration in the STEP
7 manager using
“Options > Configure Network”.
Alternatively, you can use the “
Configure
Network
” icon in the function bar

Opening network connection:
Select the Ethernet interface of the CPU.
In the bottom half of the editor, a table
with the configured network connections
appears.

Creating a new connection:
mark the first empty line and open the context
menu with the right mouse button.
Select the “Insert New Connection”
command.
The dialog window for creating a new
connection opens up.
