1.
Remove the screws

of the terminal compartment cover.

Open the terminal compartment cover and set it aside safely.
NOTICE
Observe the torques
If you use too much torque to tighten the screws of the backplane cover and the terminal
compartment cover or the screws for fastening the device to a support arm or stand, the
threads of the enclosure, intermediate plate or support arm may be damaged. If you
tighten the screws with a torque that is too low, the device is not sealed.
Tighten the screws with the following torques, which may not be exceeded:
1.5 Nm for the following connections:

Terminal compartment cover

8 Nm for the following connection:

Steel flange mount (setscrews

If you use a third-party round tube, pay attention to the torque specifications of the third-
party vendor.
Recommendation:

5 Nm for the following connection: Aluminum adapter tube (setscrews)

8 Nm for the following connection: Steel adapter tube (setscrews)

If a flange mount is included in the adapter set: To prevent damaging the O-ring during
mounting, cover it with grease suitable for NBR seals. Insert the round tube

into the
enclosure opening as shown. Make sure that the sealing ring (O-ring) is not damaged.
Fasten the round tube with the setscrews

Fasten the cover plate

on the bottom of the device.
4.
Make sure that all connecting cables are fed through the flange mount into the interior of
the device without damage.
5.
Connect the device.
6.
If you connect the device at a later time, fasten the terminal compartment cover to the
device.
NOTICE
Third-party round tube
For the device to not loosen and drop in case of vibrations, the third-party round tube must
offer a groove into which the setscrews can be fitted.
Otherwise the device can become loose due to vibrations and drop.
