6.1 Open the device.

SIMATIC IPC277E

Procedure – Opening the 12", 15" and 19" single-touch devices

Remove the marked screws

Open the device cover at the back

and set it and the drive vertically

against the device wall. Prop up

the device cover.
Notice: Connection plug and board

could be damaged.

•

Ensure that the device cover

does not fall down.

•

Remove the connection plug

from the drive.

Procedure – Opening the multi-touch device

Remove the screws marked in red.

Loosen the screws marked in

green.

Open the device cover at the front

and set it and the drive vertically

against the device wall. Prop up

the device cover.
Notice: Connection plug and board

could be damaged.

•

Ensure that the device cover

does not fall down.

•

Remove the connection plug

from the drive.

Procedure - closing the device.

Close the device in reverse order.
