Rules
Observe the following rules when connecting the main lines in hazardous area Zone 2:

Disconnect FDC from the voltage when disconnecting the line (1) on AFD4 / AFD4
(FM) / AFD8 / AFDiS
②
Disconnect FDC 1 from the voltage when disconnecting the line (1) on AFD4 /
AFD4 (FM) / AFD8 / AFDiS
Disconnect FDC 2 from the voltage when disconnecting the line (2) on AFD4 /
AFD4 (FM) / AFD8 / AFDiS
③
Disconnect FDC 1 and FDC 2 from the voltage when disconnecting the line (1) on
AFS and AFD4 / AFD4 (FM) / AFD8 / AFDiS
The following applies to all configurations:
The lines (3) can be connected during operation
(each highlighted in green in the figure)
The spur lines S1 to S8 can always be connected during operation.
Marking the main lines
Note
Mark the main lines on the field distributors which you are not permitted to disconnect during
operation.
Mark in your plant:
•
The main lines on AFD4 / AFD4 (FM) / AFD8 that come directly from the FDC coupler
•
The main lines on AFD4 / AFD4 (FM) / AFD8 that come directly from the AFS
•
The main lines on AFS that come directly from the AFD4 / AFD4 (FM) / AFD8
