Assembly
In the case of an optional interface panel, the unused cut-outs for interface cards
must be closed off with blind covers. Together with the basic kit for the expansion
of the inputs / outputs these blind covers are mounted to the supplied optional
interface panel and must be removed depending on the expansion configuration.
The removed threaded bolts are used for the subsequent securing of the interface
cards to the optional interface panel.
1
Carefully position the optional interface panel with inserted interface cards
onto the digital board. Ensure the correct positioning in the area of the
Ethernet connector.
2
Secure the three screws of the interface panel with the digital board.
3
Secure the three screws of the interface panel with the floor of the housing.
4
Secure the two screws of the interface panel with the CF board. Reinstall the
cover of the CF memory card slot and secure it.
5
Secure the six threaded bolts of the interface panel on the Sub-D connectors.
In the case of additional interface cards, their respective threaded bolts must
also be secured.

Insert the interface panel
(Example with optional interface panel for full interface expansion)
Ensure that there are no loose parts in the housing.
Check that all screws have been tightened and that there are no screws left
over.
If the standard interface panel without cut-outs for additional interface cards is
replaced with an optional interface panel for the installation of a maximum of four
additional interface cards, then the basic kit, which contains this optional
interface panel, must be ordered controller-specific due to the specific nameplate
with the corresponding serial number and the device model.
