4.Push the adapter down into the base and rotate
clockwise to engage electrical connections. The
adapter will automatically stop and lock into place.
5.Install a Series 11 detector following the installation
instructions included with the detector and then
install the new
DA-304
sensing compartment cover.
Tighten the cover snugly, but not so tightly as to
warp cover and cause leakage around the edges.
NOTE:
If it becomes necessary to remove the
adapter, push the adapter down into the
duct housing while rotating the adapter
counterclockwise. Continue to rotate
counterclockwise until stop is reached.
Then pull upward to disengage from the
housing.
