Applying and removing
your hearing instrument
Applying your hearing instrument:
Turn your hearing instrument off by opening the battery
compartment to the first stop (page 8).
Hold the earmold etween your
thumb and index finger and
insert it carefully into the ear
canal.
You may find it helpful to pull
your ear slightly upward or to
the back.
Place your hearing instrument
behind your ear.
Turn it on by completely closing
the battery compartment.
NOTE
Do not use lubricant when you insert the earmold,
because it may clog the sound outlet.
Removing your hearing instrument:
Hold the earmold
between your thumb and
index finger and carefully
pull it out. You may find it
helpful to lightly push your
ear from the back.
