Patient Browser Screen
The patient browser displays patient data stored on the following storage locations: Local
database, the connected Hospital Information System/Radiology Information System (HIS/RIS)
server (if any), and the inserted media.
Note:
Use the
Browser Configuration
dialog box to configure the display of status indicators and
headings.
The organization of the patient data within the navigation section or the content section
depends on the selected layout (tree view or single view). The tree view layout is the default
setting.

Local Database

Displays patient data stored on the local database.
Scheduler
(storage location)
Displays pre-registered patients (data entered on the ultrasound system)
and scheduled patients (data retrieved from a connected HIS/RIS
server).
CD-DVD
(storage location)
Displays patient data stored on the inserted disk.
Patient Folder

)
Displays study folders within the patient folder. This icon is displayed in
tree view only for patient data in the local database or on an inserted
disk.
Study Folder
Displays series objects within the study folder. This icon is displayed in
tree view only for patient data in the local database or on an inserted
disk.
Series Object
Displays images within the series object. This icon is displayed in tree
view only for patient data in the local database or on an inserted disk.
Patient Folder (
Scheduler
) Displays procedure folders within the patient folder. This icon is displayed
in tree view only for patient data in the Scheduler.
Procedure Folder
Displays procedure steps within the procedure folder. This icon is
displayed in tree view only for patient data in the Scheduler.
Procedure Step
Displays action items within the procedure step. This icon is displayed in
tree view only for patient data in the Scheduler.
