The vacuum  contactor  must 

be 

switched to  the  "OFF" 

position to permit replacement of  the magnet coils and 
the  economy  resistor.  Follow  the  replacement  in­

structions carefully because they are decisive tor proper 

functioning  of  the vacuum contactor. 

Removing 

the 

magnet  coils and economy resistor

Unscrew and remove both side  walls 

(Fig. 

2) 

- Disconnect the following leads to the old magnet coil
