Memory Status
calls the submenu in which memory modules can be marked as faulty. Faulty
memory modules are no longer used when the system is rebooted provided at least
one errorfree bank is available. The memory capacity is reduced accordingly. After
the defective memory modules have been replaced, you must reset the relevant
entries to
Enabled
.

Memory Status
Memory Bank n - Status of the Memory Module
shows the current status of the memory module.
Enabled
If the bank is equipped, the memory module is used by the system
(default entry).
Failed
The memory module is not used by the system. If you have
replaced a defective memory module, you must reset the entry to
Enabled.
