Performing the adjustments

6.1

Adjustment of airgap

Observe the assembly and operating instructions for the door

hinges.

In accordance with the enclosed assembly instruc-

tions of the door hinge manufacturer, adjust the air

gap [1] between the faceplate and striker plate or

frame.

An air gap of 3.5 mm ± 1.5 mm must be adhered to in or-

der to permit the KFV multi-point service locks to function

properly.
