Operating concept
The MPR is activated via the touchscreen.
5.1.1
Starting the MPR

Switch on the circuit breaker (
see “Connections”, page 12
).

The MPR will start. This can take several minutes.

The following is displayed and the MPR is ready for operation:
1 Text: MPR status
2 Message: MPR is offline
3 Symbol: Machine network
4 Symbol: SICK Meeting Point Server
5 Grey line: Disconnected
Green line: Connected

Establishing a connection

The MPR is connected with the SICK Meeting Point Server.
When MPR is connected, the following is displayed:
1 Text: MPR status
2 Message: MPR: online

NOTE:
The MPR can also automatically establish the connection immediately after the start.
Clarify this function with the SICK Customer Service during initial commissioning.
