Place of use and connection to power supply
1. Remove all packaging material and keep it out of reach of children. After
removing the packaging, check for any damage or signs of faults or defects in
the appliance. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact your dealer to
examine and/or replace it.
2. Select a suitable location for the fan heater, at least one metre from any
obstacle, walls or flammable materials (see also the safety information).
3. Ensure that the fan heater is always placed upright on a stable, smooth and
horizontal surface.
4. Check that the control is set to OFF (O).
5. Unwind the power cable completely and insert the plug into a suitable 230 V
socket. To prevent overloading to the supply, do not connect any other
appliance to the same mains circuit.
