FSB Speed Auto Configuration Setting (J1)
AV32 provides jumper J1 to set configuration front side bus at 66MHz, 100MHz,
and 133MHz. Inserting mini-jumper caps on J1 pin 5-6, pin 7-8 to identify auto-
matically the FSB speed.
Set FSB hardware jumper
to Auto.
When FSB auto config. set as
default
, the user may still adjust CPU Clock on
each FSB from Frequency/Voltage Control of BIOS Setup program.
For experienced users, AV32 mainboard provides an alternative hardware
configuration function to adjust front side bus manually. Before you adjust
FSB frequency by jumper, you need to remove all jumper cap from J1 pin 5-6
and pin 7-8, following the steps outlined below:
Set FSB hardware jumper
to 66MHz.
Set FSB hardware jumper
to 100MHz.
Set FSB hardware jumper
to 133MHz.
