The DM 6501F Conference Units are 
fully digital microcomputer controlled 
conference units with 3 button voting 
facilities (optional 5) and a chip card 
reader for use in the DIS DCS 6000 
Digital Conference System. 

The unit is specially designed for 
external connection to loudspeaker, 
speak/request buttons and gooseneck 
microphone.

The conference unit ise intended for 
use in conference halls, parliaments, 
meeting rooms and all other places, 
where a person need a conference unit 
for either receiving information or ad­
dressing information to other persons 
attending the conference or to persons 
not participating in the conference. 

The unit is designed for the use of one 
person; however two units can share 
one microphone. 

The following system operation modes 
are available: 
Automatic, FIFO, Manual and VOX 
(Voice Activation) as well as mixed 
operation modes (with SW 6000).

The units are designed for flush moun­
ting into a table.

The DM 6501 F:

•  Connection  for  external  “Speak” 

push button to activate/deactivate 
the microphone

• Auto Off of microphone
• 3 microphone interrupt ability modes 

enabling  “ping  pong”  microphone 
operation

• Connection for external connection 

of DIS GM 65xx Series Gooseneck 
Microphone (customised). 

• Connection for loudspeaker  
• Chip card reader for user identifica­

tion

• ‘Sharing microphone’ mode, where 

two units are sharing the same 
gooseneck microphone
