Beam Alignment
WARNING
Laser radiation
Avoid eye or skin exposure to direct or scattered radiation.
Attention
Use laser protective eyewear during alignment and setup.
During alignment and setup the access of unauthorized persons to the area, where the laser radiation
exceeds the spectator MPE, must be restricted. The temporary laser controlled area must be marked
accordingly.
Follow all applicable national and site-specific regulations regarding laser safety.
During transportation or rigging the internal optical parts can move slightly which can result in
misalignment of the laser beam. When this occurs, the red, blue and green colors do not overlay
physically and it is not possible to create other colors like magenta, yellow or white.
In order to align the 3 colors, follow the steps below:
Turn the 2 cover plate adjustment screws (03) counterclockwise, as shown on Fig. 15.
Slide the 2 cover plates (02) to the sides of the device, as shown on Fig. 16, to access the beam
alignment screws (A) and (B).

Project a circle with the laser on a wall or other suitable projection surface (see Fig. 17). You can also
use one of the test patterns available in the Pangolin software.
Note:
The greater the distance between the laser output and the projection surface is, the more precise is the
laser beam alignment.
