Make sure the floor is situated as shown. The open long side of the floor is the front.

Place the square shaft into the lock and then locate the handle onto the shaft and screw into position
Repeat on the inside of the door.
The Key is usually screwed to the panel on in the nail bag. Unlock the door and keep the key safe.
