Tine installation directly affects the
tiller/cultivator’s ability to break new
ground. Using Figures 14 and 15 as a
guide, determine the correct tine
orientation for the tilling/cultivating
job at hand:
1. Install the tine assemblies to the
gearcase output shafts.
2. Secure each tine assembly with one
clevis pin and one hitch pin as
shown in Figure 13.
3. Apply the caution label to the outer
tube as shown in Figure 13.
