3. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

MMA welding rectifier 200 is used for manual welding DC structural steel coated electrodes (MMA method). It also enables welding by TIG arc ignition
by friction (after application of the additional bracket). This is the inverter device, manufactured with the most technologically advanced components
made in MOSFET technology. Welder is equipped with automatic functions for easy voltage ignition HOT START and ANTI STICK to protect against
damage to the device. The device also has an optional function VRD buck in a no-load and minimize the risk of electric shock.

Duty cycle

Duty cycle is based on a period of 10 minutes. Duty cycle of 60% means that after 6 minutes of operation of the device is required for 4-minute break.
Duty cycle of 100% means that the machine can operate continuously without interruption.

Attention! Heating test was carried out in the ambient air temperature. Duty cycle at 40 ° C was determined by simulation.

Level of security

IP specifies the extent to which the device is resistant to entering of solid impurities and water. IP21 means that the device is suitable for use in
confined spaces and is not suitable for use in the rain and snow.

application class

application class It means that the device is suitable for use in areas with increased danger of electric shock.

application class It means that the device is suitable for use in areas with increased danger of electric shock.

VRD function

VRD function reduces the voltage in no-load condition to a safe value, minimizing the risk of electric shock. Striking the arc voltage returns to its
nominal value of enabling arc ignition.

5. CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION

The basis for the construction of the power conversion electronics welders are made in MOSFET technology for working in the frequency range of 100
kHz.

The principle consists of a single-phase rectified voltage to the power supply voltage, conversion of the resulting DC voltage to a square

wave high frequency voltage transformation in the range required by the welding process and re-erection of the resulting voltage on the DC voltage.

6. CONNECTION TO THE MAINS

6. CONNECTION TO THE MAINS

1. A device to be used only in a single-phase, three-wire, with earthed neutral.

2. Rectifier MMA Inverter 200 is adapted to cooperate with a network of 230V 50 Hz fused 25A by time-delayed action. Power supply should

be stable, with no voltage drops.
