TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM

Power lamp off. 

No power supply. 

Plug unit into an AC out-
let and turn the unit on.

Power lamp is on but no mist is 
coming out. 

No water in water tank.

Add water to water tank.

Tank has water, but the tank 
is not resting properly on 
the base.  

Reposition the tank so 
that it fits properly on 
the base.

Mist has a strange odor.  

This might be a normal 
smell for a new item.  

Remove the water tank, 
open the cover and let it 
air out for 12 hours.  

The water might be dirty or 
standing for a long time. 

Clean the water tank and 
refill with fresh, clean 
water. 

Power lamp is on, but the unit 
doesn’t work.

Too much water in the water 
basin.

Remove some water, 
replace the tank and turn 
the unit on.

Mist fog is too small

Too much scale in the water 
basin.

Clean the transducer.

Water is dirty.

Clean the water tank and 
refill with fresh, clean 
water.

Abnormal noise

Water level is too low.

Add water to water tank.

Unit is on an unstable 
surface.

Move the unit to a stable, 
flat surface.

Mist is leaking from around 
the nozzle.

Nozzle is not sitting cor-
rectly on the device.

Reposition the nozzle so 
it makes proper contact. 
Dip the nozzle in water 
if necessary to form a 
tighter seal.  

•  DO NOT disassemble the unit. There are 

no user-serviceable parts. 

•  DO NOT use the unit if the power cord 

appears damaged. 

•  DO NOT pour detergents or other 

chemicals into the tank.

•  DO NOT add essential oil into  

the water tank.

•  Unplug the unit during cleaning, 

maintenance or whenever it is not  

being used. 

•  DO NOT touch the water in the Water 

Basin or other components when the  

unit is working. 

•  DO NOT turn on the unit when there is no 

water in the tank. 

•  DO NOT scrape or clean the transducer  

with chemicals.

•  DO NOT let water splash into the inner  

base unit.

•  DO NOT allow children to play with this 

unit. It is not a toy. 

•  This unit is for indoor use only. 

SAFETY WARNINGS    

Please dispose of this unit and 

the remote control batteries in 

accordance with local laws.
