ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENT
The unit has been adjusted optimally at the time of factory shipment. However, if the screen position is deviated or
when exchanging parts, make an adjustment as shown below.
• Turn on the power (lamp on state) and wait for 15 minutes for aging.
• Enter the adjustment process mode with SW2002 (tact switch) on the main unit.
• Select the group to adjust with the DOWN (
"
) key or the UP (
'
) key on the remote control, and enter the
adjustment item with the ENTER ( ) key on the remote control.
• Select the adjustment item with the DOWN (
"
) key or the UP (
'
) key on the remote control.
• Use the LEFT (
\
) key or the RIGHT (
|
) key for adjustment.
• To return from the adjustment item to the adjustment group, use the UNDO ( ) key.
• To exit the adjustment process mode, execute the factory setting at the end of the adjustment.
If the factory setting is not executed, the adjusted contents are not reflected.
<Cautions for adjustment>
1) Initialization and factory setting
If the initialization S2 or the factory setting S5 of EEPROM is carried out, time for writing the data is necessary.
When the initialization S2 or the factory setting S5 of EEPROM are executed, the OSD display of the adjust-
ment process mode disappears, and INPUT 1 is selected after about 15 seconds. Since the OSD display of
the set 2 or the set 5 appears, never turn off the power until this display appears.
2) AUTO adjustment
At the time of AUTO adjustment, do not bring to the no-signal state. (Do not stop the signal.)
Otherwise the adjustment data may be changed or deleted.

EEPROM
initialization
1. Turn on the power (with the
lamp on) and warm up the
set for 15 minutes.
1. Make the following settings.
Press SW2002 to enter the process mode. Execute
the S2 command on the SSS menu. With the S2
command, all the circuit boards than the PC board
will be initialized.
Press SW2002 to enter the process mode and ex-
ecute S2 of the SSS menu.
All other than the PC board are initialized with S2.
Press SW2002 again to enter the process mode and
execute S5 of the SSS menu.
Note: Since the PC I/F unit is initialized with S1, do
not carry out S1.
The PC I/F unit is already adjusted.
When the PC I/F unit must be adjusted, in such case
as S1 is carried out by mistake, adjust it according
to the "PC I/F adjustment method" on the final page.
2-1 A/D (RGB)
