INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Rem ove all packing m aterials from the oven cavity. Check the unit for any dam age, such as a
m isaligned door, dam aged door seals around the door or dents inside the oven cavity or on the door.
If there is any dam age, please do not operate the oven until it has been checked by a SERVICE CENTRE
APPROVED BY SHARP and repaired, if necessary.

3. Locate the roller stay in the centre of the oven, then fit the turntable on the roller stay as show n in the
OVEN DIAGRAM below . M ake sure the turntable and roller stay are centrally located and locked
together. NEVER operate the oven w ithout the roller stay and turntable.
4. The oven should not be installed in any area w here excessive heat and steam are generated, for
exam ple, next to a conventional oven unit.
The oven should be installed so as not to block ventilation openings.
Allow at least 15 cm on the top of the oven for free air space.
5. The A.C. voltage and frequency m ust be single phase 230-240V, 50Hz.
6. WARNING-THIS APPLIANCE M UST BE EARTHED.
If the socket outlet in your house is not com patible w ith the plug supplied, cut-off the m ains plug and
fit an appropriate type, observing the w iring cord below .
If you are unsure how to do this get help from an electrician.
INPORTANT - The w ires in pow er supply cord are coloured in accordance w ith the follow ing code:
Green-and-yellow
:
Earth
Blue
:
Neutral
Brow n
:
Live
As the colours of the w ires in the pow er supply cord of this appliance m ay not correspond w ith the
coloured m arking identifying the term inals in your plug, proceed as follow s:
The w ire w hich is coloured green-and-yellow m ust be connected to the term inal in the plug w hich is
m arked w ith the letter E or by the earth sym bol or coloured green or green-and-yellow .
The w ire w hich is coloured blue m ust be connected to the term inal w hich is m arked w ith the letter
N or coloured blue.
The w ire w hich is coloured brow n m ust be connected to the term inal w hich is m arked w ith the letter
L or coloured brow n.
NOTE: Under no circum stances should the cut-off plug be inserted into a socket outlet as a serious
electric shock m ay occur.
