Before Using the Handset

[Read the user’s guides of Wireless Charger 01/02 (sold 
separately)]

 

Following operations describe how to charge with Wireless 
Charger 02.

 

Part names are as followings.

Charging assist button is a button to use when charging does 
not start even after a mini compatible device with small output 
capacity is placed on the center of the charging area.

Insert the connector of the exclusive AC 
adapter into the wireless charger (

Insert the connector securely.

Insert only the exclusive AC adapter.

Insert the power plug of the exclusive AC 
adapter into an outlet (

When you place the handset on the charging 
area, the charging lamp and charging 
information illuminate and charging starts

Place the handset slowly with the

 mark side turned down 

so that

 mark of the wireless charger faces the 

b

 mark of 

the handset.

The handset will be detected when it is put on the charging 
area. LEDs switch by turns and flash during the detection. 
One or two LED(s) closest to the point where the handset 
has been detected illuminate(s) and charging starts.

If the handset power is turned off, the charging lamp flashes 
in red when charging starts. Also, the charging lamp may 
flash before charging finishes.

When charging is complete, the charging lamp 
and charging information turn off

Remove the handset from the wireless charger.

When the handset is turned on, you can charge the handset by 
connecting the handset to a PC with Micro USB Cable 01 (sold 
separately).

Do not forcibly insert or remove. May cause damage to the 
external connector terminal and the microUSB plug or result in 
a malfunction.

 

Do not place objects near the handset when charging. May 
damage the handset.

When using a DC adapter

 

The DC adapter should only be used in negative grounded 
vehicles (12 and 24V DC).

 

Do not use with the car engine shut off. May drain the car 
battery.

 

The DC adapter fuse is a consumable product. For 
replacement, purchase a new fuse at a nearest auto parts 
retailer etc.

 

Refer to the user’s guide of DC Adapter 03 for details.

Place the wireless charger on a stable and horizontal surface to 
charge.

 

Pull the exclusive AC adapter from the outlet if it will not be 
used for a long time.

 

Multiple handsets cannot be charged at the same time.

 

When charging, remove the cover etc. with which the handset is 
equipped.

 

When noises interfere on a TV, radio set, etc. during its use, 
use the wireless charger after distancing it as far away from a 
TV, radio set, etc. as possible.

 

You cannot use the camera during charging.

 

When charging, keep the wireless charger at least 30 cm away 
from wireless charging compatible devices other than the 
handset to charge. Otherwise the handset to charge may not be 
detected and thus may not be charged.

 

Do not move the wireless charger and the handset while 
charging.

 

Do not let the vibrator activated while charging the handset. 
Note that charging may not be complete or the handset may fall 
since it moves due to vibrations.

 

If you charge the handset with a commercially available product 
with

 mark, the handset may not receive calls during charging.
