Out of concern regarding food hygiene, the food is heated immediately and will be
ready at the scheduled time. This does not mean the appliance is broken.

When heating with the stirring unit, soak it completely in the water.
You can also cut a lemon into roughly 8 pieces and place them in the
water for added effect.

There may be smells such as plastic smell at first. The smells will fade
gradually.

Strongly aromatic dishes may leave trace smells.
Do not leave it for long periods of time, but wash the stirring unit, inner
lid, steam vent cover, drip tray, inner pot and steam plate once they
have cooled down. If the smells bother you, try the following method.
If you still require service, disconnect the plug from the outlet and CONTACT YOUR NEAREST SERVICE
CENTER APPROVED BY SHARP.

ERROR MODE
If ERROR message is displayed, follow the below instructions.
The errors with [U] and [E] will sound audible signals.
The stirring unit is not attached. Attach the stirring unit if the menu item
requires stirring.
Fermentation cannot be started because the inside of the appliance is too hot.
Open the lid and let it cool for 15 minutes.
There was a power outage. The result of the cooking may suffer depending
on the timing of the power outage.
There is a problem with the stirring unit. Attach the stirring unit properly. See
page en-4. If you put too much food in the inner pot, reduce it.
Press the
KEEP WARM/CANCEL
button once to clear the error message. If the error message [C with any number]
appears again, call for service.
