• Shield thin end of chops or steaks with foil.
Chops

Position the food with thinner parts in the centre in a single layer on the defrost rack.
If pieces are stuck together, try to separate as soon as possible.
• The oven will "beep" and stop, CHECK will fl ash on and off. Remove defrosted pieces,

turn over and shield the warm portion of remaining pieces.
• Press start to continue defrosting.
• After defrost time, stand covered with aluminium foil.
Minced Meat

• Place frozen minced meat on a defrost rack. Shield edges.
Beef

• Shield the exposed bone with foil.
• Place chicken pieces on a defrost rack.
• The oven will "beep" and stop, CHECK will fl ash on and off. Remove defrosted pieces,

• After defrost time, stand covered with aluminium foil.
Poultry

• Remove from original wrapper. Shield wing and leg tips with foil.
• Place breast side down on a defrost rack.
• The oven will "beep" and stop, CHECK will fl ash on and off. Turn over and shield
the warm portions.

• Press start to continue defrosting.
• After defrost time, stand covered with aluminium foil.

EASY DEFROST MENU GUIDE
Food not listed in the Guide can be defrosted manually using 30 % setting.
NOTE: When freezing minced meat, shape it into fl at even sizes.
For chicken pieces, steaks and chops, freeze separately in single fl at layers and if necessary
interleave with freezer plastic to separate layers. This will ensure even defrosting.
It is also a good idea to label the packs with the correct weights.
