NOTES:
●
When copying a book or an original which has been folded or a crumpled original, press down
lightly on the platen cover. This will reduce shadow lines caused by uneven contact between
the original and the platen glass.
●
The platen cover can be removed to allow copying of bulky objects. To remove it, open the
platen cover and lift it at a slightly backward angle. To reattach the platen cover, reverse the
above procedure.
The capacity of the centre tray is 500 sheets (400 sheets for A3, B4, 11" x 17", and 8-1/2" x 14" sizes).
When the offset function is turned on, a maximum of 350 sheets can be loaded. When the number of
copies output reaches this limit, copying will stop and the START (
) key indicator will go out. Remove
the copies from the centre tray and press the START (
) key to resume copying.
