Basically, communication logs are analyzed by a bus monitor or debug print logs are analyzed.
L_FL_ERR (pin 73) is defect (L). 5 sequential flashes at 1 second intervals indicate a lamp failure (failure can be detected o
nly while the backlight is on).
Be aware that the lamp failure detecting operation is not activated except in the monitoring process after the LED has flashed
5 times in total.
The total number of flashes is cleared to 0 by the setting in the monitoring process or after the LED lit up for 30 minutes in
a row.
If the panel temperature is 60˚C or more for 15 seconds or more in a row, CAUTION appears on the OSD of AVC (flashes in red in
the lower right screen).
If the panel temperature is 60˚C or more for 25 seconds or more in a row, the error standby is activated.
(OSTEMP in monitoring process OTHER 2: thermistor AD value appears, TEMP ERR in page FAN: temperature failure AD value is chang
ed): thermistor
Not used
Detected during start-up and operation (interruption)
FREERUN (pin 59) or STB (pin 32) is defect (L). 3.3 V is not applied to the LCD controller.
CSEN1 (pin 34) is defect (L).
VSH_IN (pin 36pin) is defect (H). VSH 3.3 V is not applied.
Detected during start-up and operation (interruption)
15V_CHK (pin 31) is defect (L). 15 V is not applied.
Detected only during start-up. When the error is detected during operation, the projector is restarted by an interrupt handling
(instantaneous blackout processing).
Not used
→
Main CPU start-up failure or monitoring microcomputer's reception failure
Regular communication that is performed at 1 second intervals in the normal operation is interrupted.
→
Main CPU operation failure or monitoring microcomputer's reception failure
Detected during start-up and operation (interruption). FREERUN is checked during start-up and STB is checked while light is on.
When the projector is restarted by program such as standby on/off, notice for the completion of restart is not received.
→
Main CPU restart failure or monitoring microcomputer's reception failure
Initial communication from the main CPU is not received. (Request for the monitor model No. is not received.)
→
Communication line failure or main CPU start-up failure
Reason for start-up is not received from the main CPU. (Start-up communication to start-up reason notification 22h is not recei
ved.)
NOTE: Connect a LED to P2304 for blinking codes
