8. Inspection Process
1) Input/output terminal impedances and level inspection
a) Video input terminal
Input signal: 1 Vp-p, terminated with 75-ohm impedance
Using the oscilloscope, make sure the level is 1±0.2 Vp-p. Be also sure that the contrast is similar to that of
received TV image.
b) Video output terminal
Make sure the monitor output terminal level is 1.0±0.2 Vp-p (at the specified input to the video input terminal).
9. Factory settings
Make the factory settings following way.
1. Hold down the set's TV/VIDEO and MENU keys at once, and turn on the main power.
(Then make sure "K" appears in magenta at the top left of the screen.)
2. Press the set's CH(
ù
) and VOL(+) keys at once for a second or so.
3. Make sure "SETTING" appears at the top left of the screen, which means that the factory settings are now
being made.
4. With the factory settings completed, the "SETTING" indication changes to "COMPLETE".
Note: Just after the factory settings have been made, turn off the power switch.
(At the next power-on, the set will get started in the EZ SETUP mode. With the factory settings over, do
not press any unnecessary keys. Otherwise the set may malfunction.)
