MAINTENANCE AFTER AIR
CONDITIONER SEASON

Operate the unit in the SELF CLEAN
operation to allow the mechanism to
thoroughly dry.

Stop the operation and unplug the unit.
Turn off the circuit breaker, if you have
one exclusively for the air conditioner.

Clean the
fi
lters, then reinstall them.

Make sure that the air
fi
lters are not
dirty.

Make sure that nothing obstructs the
air inlet or outlet.
MAINTENANCE
Be sure to disconnect the power cord from the
wall outlet or turn off the circuit breaker before
performing any maintenance.
CLEANING THE FILTERS
The air
fi
lter sign lamp on the display panel will turn
on to denote the air
fi
lter needs cleaning if the total
operating time is accumulated to 300 hours.
The lamp will turn off when the operation is
stopped.
(Accumulated operating time will be reset to "0" at
this moment)

Turn off the unit.

Remove the
fi
lters.

Lift the open panel.

Push the air
fi
lters up slightly to unlock them.

Pull the air
fi
lters down to remove them.

Take off the air purifying
fi
lters from
the air
fi
lters.

Clean the
fi
lters.
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust. If the
fi
lters are dirty, wash them with warm water
and a mild detergent. Dry
fi
lters in the shade
before reinstalling.

Reinstall the air purifying
fi
lters.

Reinstall the
fi
lters.

Reinstall the
fi
lters in the original positions.

Close the open panel.

Push the arrow-marked of the panel
fi
rmly
to lock it in place.
CLEANING THE UNIT AND THE
REMOTE CONTROL
• Wipe them with a soft cloth.
• Do not directly splash or pour water on them. It
can cause electrical shock or equipment damage.
• Do not use hot water, thinner, abrasive powders or
strong solvents.
